The position here appears to be as follows:-

As to the shipment by H.C.A.Fromm.

As the bill has been paid by the drawee and the only persons who can benefit by the permission being granted will be the British, neutral and allied creditors

of the Hong Kong branch of H.C.A.Fromm, there is no objection to the goods going forward and no further

licence is required, the Bank in this instance acting merely as Agent for the consignee and not by virtue of

its own interest in the matter.

With regard to the shipment by Lam Brothers. In this case also the Bill having been accepted
